You’ll discover all the voice techniques you need to expand your vocal range for animation with Nic, and get practical experience bringing the characters to life behind the mic on both original and dubbing scripts with Julie-Ann. Julie-Ann, voice actor and co-founder of Scripts Out Loud, began her voice acting career at 16, dubbing the children’s programme ‘The Little Vampire’ for the BBC. With decades of experience working in children’s TV, Julie-Ann has hundreds of credits to her name. Some highlights include Paw Patrol, Toby’s Travelling Circus and BabyRiki. In recent years she has won a Voice Arts Award in Hollywood for her performance in a VR video game and last year she won a VOX award for her variety of character performances in Pinocchio and Friends for CBeebies.

Nic Redman has recorded and spoken for a living for nearly 20 years and coaches people to feel vocally free every day. With an MA in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, her research into vocal manipulation and 3 step method for character voice development helps people find their voices in audiobooks, gaming and animation. She has been featured multiple times on the BBC and Times Radio as well as in The Guardian, Irish Times and the Metro. Nic coaches 1-2-1, and runs residential retreats, online courses and in-person masterclasses. Nic is co-host of the award-winning Voiceover Social Podcast, creator of the top 1% worldwide ranking Voice Coach Podcast, and author of the best-selling book “On The Mic”…
