Training: Central School of Speech and Drama
Past credits include the UK premier of two musicals; Silence! The Musical, the comedy musical version of Silence of the Lambs and A Man of No Importance at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square, for which Time Out said I “...soared to the vocal challenges of the liturgical score...”, meaning I sing dead good.
I’ve also worked with Mikron Theatre Company touring a double bill of musical comedy plays around the inland waterways of Britain by narrowboat, playing many, many characters and instruments, including the bottles. Yes, bottles. They can be tuned. I was blowing in both D minor and F.
More recently you can see me doing comedy 'acting' in a new comedy sketch group called "Jolly Mixtures". We are made up of me, Rob Gilroy, Amy Gledhill and Graham Oakes and basically we’ve been taking the sketch world by storm! Mainly at Caroline Street Social Club, Saltaire, Yorkshire for now, but watch this space. Not that one.... this one
Once upon a time, I did a TV thing with Ray Winstone. You could only really see my feet in the end, but he did teach me how to act ‘discover drugs in a suitcase in customs’ correctly. Not by sniffing them, it would seem. #neverdonedrugs
